Description
Red blood cells, also known as RBCs, red cells, red blood corpuscles, haematids, erythroid cells or erythrocytes (from Greek erythros for “red” and kytos for “hollow vessel”, with -cyte translated as “cell” in modern usage), are the most common type of blood cells and the principal means of delivering oxygen (O2) to the body tissues via blood flow through the circulatory system. RBCs take up oxygen in the lungs , and release it into tissues while squeezing through the body’s capillaries.
Vitamin B12 plays a key role in the formation of red blood cells whch are of paramount importance for health since the entire body needs oxygen to support life. It is an essential supplementation vitamin because the body cannot produce it endogenously. For those who are deficient, supplementing with Vitamin B12 is paramount.
The bio-active of Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin) is also amazingly powerful as a detoxifying agent through a process known as ‘Methylation’, which probably is one of the most critical processes in the body.
The addition of Rice protein concentrate helps with bio-availability
